It's a bit tangled, but here's what the researchers discovered:

Secrets to workout success: How to take the routine out of your fitness

GymBuddiez |

Many of us are creatures of habit. This might mean that we always eat ham and cheddar sandwiches on rye for lunch, that our day would not feel complete without wearing a tattered flannel robe before bed, or that we cannot bear to rearrange the furniture, switch cubicles at work, or even write with a different kind of ballpoint pen. There is a safety and predictability and comfort in doing the same thing, seeing the same thing, experiencing the same thing over and over. And for those of us who exercise, it can also mean that we've made our workouts routine, too.

We want to know: What kind of exercise are you doing these days?

GymBuddiez |
For some reason, Ask a Stupid Question Day has been declared. There's some back-and-forth about when to actually celebrate it, with most sources citing either September 28th or the last school day of September as the official-ish holiday. Serena Williams makes the first bearable tampon ad maybe ever

Jessica Ashley, Shine staff | September 29, 2009

No one wants to buy them, but you need them. Do you really have a strong opinion on brands?

I’m very skeptical of promises that sound too good to be true.

No field is as rife with these as the diet industry, where new dream diets are invented daily and claim to have found a magic trick allowing us to eat as much as we want yet lose weight.
